Virtual reality, simulators and other interactive interfaces will demonstrate innovative automotive technology, not currently available in the aftermarket.
Organizers of the annual Automotive Aftermarket Parts Exhibition (AAPEX) have announced there will be an all-new “Technology Intersection” on the show floor.
The new exhibition will be set up on the show’s upper level 2. It will feature virtual reality, simulators and other interactive interfaces to demonstrate future, innovative automotive technology that is not currently available in the aftermarket.
AAPEX 2017 will be held Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 at the Sands Exposition Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
AAPEX represents the $740 billion global aftermarket auto parts industry, and is co-owned by the Auto Care Association and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), the light vehicle aftermarket division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA).
