Fram releases Extra Guard Enhancement

Fram has introduced an upgrade on its Extra Guard Spin-on Oil Filters. It now has a silicone anti-drainback valve that can be used for all manufacturers’ recommended change intervals.

The filters anti-drainback valve remains flexible longer than nitrile, which provides more protection when starting up an engine and also gives protection against dry starts.

The product is made from a blend of fibers and resin so that the filter can capture 95 per cent of dirt particles that are greater than 20 microns.
