Federated promoting Car Care program via ARCA racing series

Federated Auto Parts is racing to promote its Federated Car Care program… and also is hoping to drum up membership by sponsoring a sweepstakes with a classic, specially built 2004 Chevy Corvette as the grand prize.

U.S.-based Federated Auto Parts, which has affiliated shops in Canada, has announced its Federated Car Care program will be the presenting sponsor for four American Racing Car Association (ARCA) stock car races this season.

ARCA flew the Federated Car Care colors at races in May and June at tracks in Toledo, Ohio, and Winchester, Ind., and Federated has agreed to sponsor events Sept. 5 at Duquoin State Fairgrouns in Macon, Ill., and Sept. 17 at Salem Speedway in Salem, Ind. The company also backed the Federated Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race July 23 at Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon, Tenn., the 16th annual running of the Federated-sponsored event..

The company also is promoting a "Sweet Ride Sweepstakes" with the grand prize a 2004 classic Corvette built by Federated’s two newest Car Care members, Bryan Fuller and Kevin Byrd, who host SPEED TV’s "Two Guys Garage."

The sweepstakes is open to any Federated Car Care Center member enrolled by Oct. 15. Current members are automatically eligible. More information about the Federated program is available on the company’s website.

The Federated Car Care program is open to auto repair shops and to tire dealerships that offer undercar services. The network has about 70 distribution members and more than 3,000 affiliated Car Care locations in the U.S. and Canada.
