Federal-Mogul Launches Several First-to-Market MOOG Chassis Parts, Expands Coverage of Asian and European Models

Federal-Mogul has introduced several innovative, first-to-market Moog steering and suspension components and launched another in a long series of Moog coverage expansions for popular Asian and European applications. With an array of premium repair solutions – including exclusive Problem Solver designs – the Moog brand offers the aftermarket’s most complete steering and suspension product line.

Among the new MOOG parts is a Problem Solver upper ball joint (#K500119) that enables technicians to replace the original parts on 2003-2007 Cadillac CTS models without purchasing complete control arm assemblies. Other new components with problem solving technology are outer tie rod ends (#ES800593, right; ES800594, left) that replace the original parts on 2007-2010 Jeep Wrangler models.

Federal-Mogul also has continued its aggressive expansion of MOOG coverage for foreign-nameplate vehicles, with the following new parts now available through North American distributors:

#ES800589 and ES800590                 Acura TL (2009-2010) outer tie rod ends, right and left

#ES800591 and ES800592                 Honda Fit (2009-2010) and Honda Insight (2010) outer tie rods, right and left

#K700341 and K700342                     Mercedes-Benz C300, C350 and C63 Amg (2008-2009) rear sway bar link kits, right and left

“Vehicle service providers choose MOOG because they need products that solve problems the first time, regardless of vehicle make or model,” said Mark Boyle, director, steering and suspension products, Federal-Mogul. “Our world-class engineering resources enable us to develop the best parts in the category and offer the most complete and efficient coverage of the North American vehicle population.”
