2001: A Year to Remember, a Year to Forget

This year was certainly tumultuous, with a number of major parts suppliers getting hit hard by the decline in vehicle production.

Like it or not, this is an integrated automotive world we live and work in, and there are few opportunities to be totally independent of the markets at large. While suppliers wrestle with a variety of economic and business issues, the aftermarket continued to roll along and change as it did. Here is a look at some of the main stories that occurred in the aftermarket in 2001.
