Epicor will be demonstrating its new graphics-based electronic catalogue at this year’s AAPEX event.
The new Epicor PartExpert graphical eCatalog is designed to help automotive parts providers lookup aftermarket and original equipment parts faster. Users can click on interactive diagrams of application-specific vehicle systems, allowing them to visualize a part’s location and design and highlight related parts that may also be needed for the repair.
Users can click on the part in the diagram to loop up the component in a catalogue.
“Our development team has been hard at work in collaboration with automotive parts and service professionals to establish new benchmarks for catalog usability and value,” said Scott Thompson, vice president, automotive, analytics and content, Epicor. “The result is a truly best-in-class tool that will help customers drive growth at the counter, in the service bay, and online. This new interface can make any aftermarket professional more accurate and proficient in identifying, selecting and ordering parts.”
