Don Hannah, 86, passes away peacefully

Don Hannah, the aftermarket veteran known for his good humour and generous spirit, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2019.

He was 86 years old.

Hannah, who thrived in the Canadian refinishing industry and served for many years on the board of the Shad’s R&R golf tournament, will be remembered at a celebration of life on Aug. 17 at the Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home Burlington Chapel at 2241 New St. in Burlington, Ont.

The celebration will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with shared memories at 2:30 p.m.

He was surrounded by his family when he died. He was the beloved husband of Ellie for almost 60 years; awesome father to Ron (Phyllis), Susan, and Lisa (Matt) Kohler; and cherished “papa” to Kelsey, Hannah, Jane and Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society Hamilton/Halton Region or the Salvation Army.
