DELPHI ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN GLOBAL MANAGEMENT FOR INDEPENDENT AFTERMARKET BUSINESS

Troy, Mich. — Delphi announced today Dave Barbeau, vice president, global independent aftermarket, Delphi Product & Service Solutions (DPSS), has elected to retire from Delphi effective December 1, 2010. Lucia Veiga Moretti, currently vice president, independent aftermarket, Europe, Middle East and Africa, DPSS, is appointed vice president, global independent aftermarket, DPSS, effective September 1, 2010.

“I would like to thank Dave for his many contributions to Delphi during his tenure,” said Francisco (Frank) Ordoñez, president, Delphi Product & Service Solutions. “Dave has overseen the growth and expansion of Delphi’s Independent Aftermarket on a global basis, and has been instrumental in strategically positioning Delphi with major customers, particularly in the North American market. His experience and leadership has been invaluable to the organization, and to the many employees he has been involved with in our business.”  Barbeau will continue to be responsible for the IAM business in North America until December 1, 2010.

“Lucia brings a wealth of global experience gained from her work for Delphi as director of Aftermarket in South America, director of marketing in North America, and vice president of independent aftermarket in Europe, Middle East and Africa,” said Ordoñez. “She has extraordinarily strong business acumen and has overcome unique challenges in her prior roles that have shown great strength in her management skills. I am very confident Lucia will continue to lead this business forward in every region to strategically support our customers.”

“I welcome Lucia to this new global leadership position and wish Dave many successes in his future endeavors,” said Ordoñez.

Moretti began her automotive career at a Delphi Joint Venture in Brazil (DHB) in 1989. She held several positions in sales, marketing and business planning in the original equipment business and then joined Delphi Product & Service Solutions in 2001 as director of Aftermarket, South America. In this role, Moretti led the creation of the DPSS business and launch of the new brand.
