CRP exec wins lifetime achievement award

Former CRP Automotive executive Chris von Lenski has received the 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Auto International Association, the import segment of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA).

Von Lenski, who now serves as a consultant to CRP Industries, was cited for his long-standing contributions to industry. The award is presented to individuals who have contributed consistently and significantly to both the automotive industry and the Auto International Association.

The Auto International Association is dedicated to fostering global trade of automotive products by providing a bridge between the international automotive community and the U.S. automotive aftermarket.

Von Lenski first joined CRP in 1968, and for more than 40 years, has significantly contributed to the company’s success and growth in the U.S., Canadian and Mexican (NAFTA) import automotive aftermarket parts business.

Most recently he served in the role of executive vice president of sales, marketing, and product development.

CRP Automotive is a part of CRP Industries, with brand names that include ContiTech Automotive Belts, Rein Automotive Parts and Accessories, Pentosin Technical Fluids, and AJUSA Engine Parts.
