The Automotive Parts Rebuilders Association will hold several high-interest clinics during the upcoming 2003 International Big R Show in Las Vegas this November.
The show, being held at the Mandalay Bay and Resort in Las Vegas, Nev., features a CV & Racks Clinic, an Air Conditioning Clinic, a Brake Clinic and a Performance Racing Clinic. All will be held on Sunday and Monday, November 2 and 3, 2003.
A schedule follows:
The CV & Racks Clinic, scheduled for Sunday, November 2nd from 2:00 4:00 p.m., will have presentations about the latest technological challenges in the industry; the latest in cleaning methods and the impact of new technology on your company’s ability to stay current.
The Air Conditioning Clinic will have presentations that cover the direction of this industry, new cleaning challenges and technologies, newly engineered compressor designs and electronic changes going on in the air conditioning compressor and the A/C system. Plan on attending this dynamic event and network with other professionals in the A/C business.
The Brake Clinic will feature presentations that include OE Quality Friction (Rotor Surface and how it effects brake performance); BEEP (Brake Effectiveness Evaluation Procedure); NVH/Ceramics (a look at Noise Vibration and Harshness data and Ceramic formulas). This clinic also includes a tour of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The Performance Racing Clinic will include Jim Spoonhower, SEMA’s Market Research and Information VP and Scooter Brothers, Director of R & D for Competition Cams and a former performance engine rebuilder. Jim and Scooter will speak on opportunities in the performance & racing rebuilding market. This clinic also includes a tour of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
