Classic Industries acquires parts companies

Classic Industries, which offers restoration and performance parts for General Motors and Chrysler Vehicles, has acquired California Mustang Parts, California Muscle Parts, and Highway Classics.

California Mustang, which opened its doors in 1976, offers parts and accessories for classic Ford Mustangs. California Muscle Parts, its sister company, handles parts for the classic Ford Falcon and late model Mustangs. Highway Classics, the wholesale division of the company, Classic Industries said in an announcement.

“California Mustang is one of the original icons in the mail order catalog business having served classic Ford Mustang and Falcon enthusiasts for more than four decades,” said Jeff Leonard, chief executive officer of Classic Industries.

The company’s corporate director assured that it would be business as usual through the transition process. “Our focus moving forward will be on broadening the company’s product lines to cover additional Ford-related makes and models as well,” says Ray Yager. “You can expect to see new parts and catalogs coming out for a variety of popular Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles including, but not limited to, Capri, Comet, Falcon, Ranchero, Cougar, Ford pickup, Bronco and other related models.”
