Wilson Dias has joined Centric Parts as its vice president and general manager of its high performance and racing brand, StopTech.
Centric’s president Greg Woo made the announcement. Dias will oversee sales, design engineering, procurement, manufacturing and quality. Woo noted the move adds another industry executive to the company, a division of APC Automotive Technologies, which is positioning itself for further growth of its brake systems and chassis components business.
Dias spent the last 13 years at Honeywell in a number of senior level positions, such as business director for turbo/thermal products and global business director for thermal products.
“Wilson comes to us with a wealth of experience in business development, customer management, and product portfolio strategies,” Woo said. “His expertise in global manufacturing and supply relationships will go a long way in helping us to substantially grow and expand our business,” said Woo.
StopTech’s co-founder Steve Ruiz, who is also Centric’s vice president of engineering and research and development also welcomed Dias to the fold.
“Wilson comes to us with a breadth of knowledge that he has gained over his extensive management career in the automotive and aerospace markets,” he said. “His expertise in new technology development and manufacturing processes will prove invaluable as we continue to innovate new products and programs for our StopTech business.”
