Dual Fan Assemblies
Dorman’s new “OE FIX” engine cooling fan assembly has been redesigned with more efficient, proven longer-lasting brushless motors. The OE cooling fan assembly requires replacement due to under-engineered motors which burn out prematurely due to high use. Dorman’s new design provides 10 times the service life compared to the OE and competitor parts. Additionally, Dorman’s cooling fan assembly uses more durable materials vs. the OE eliminating fan blade breakage – an additional area of OE failure.
They are available for Chrysler 2014-12, Chrysler 2010-05, and Dodge 2018-05
According to Dorman, optimal air flow prevents vehicle from overheating.
These fan assemblies are described as ideal for heavy use applications such as law enforcement, fleet, performance vehicles. Complete assembly including shroud, motor and blade.
Engine cooling fan assemblies
Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket now offers a new line of Continental Engine Cooling Fan Assemblies that are an exact match for fit and performance to the OE part.
These assemblies are engineered to restore original engine cooling performance. Continental Engine Cooling Fan Assemblies are 100% tested for fit, vibration, and amperage draw.
They feature OE-style electrical connections so there are no ‘flying leads’ that require wire splicing.
Automotive grade materials are used throughout to ensure long service life and dependability.
To save time during the installation process, technicians will find that all mounting points are exactly the same as the original fan. Continental Engine Cooling Fan Assemblies are direct replacements for the factory units.
Electric water pump
With electric water pumps showing up in an increasing number of automotive applications, Airtex-ASC has added new electric water pump coverage for 40 million vehicles in operation (VIO).
The new Airtex-ASC electric water pump numbers cover a wide variety of popular vehicle nameplates, including BMW, Toyota, Lexus, Volkswagen, Audi, Ford, and Lincoln.
Each electric water pump is engineered to keep the engine cooling system in peak running condition, delivering maximum coolant flow and durability just like its OE counterpart.
“Electric water pumps are a key component in many vehicles on the road today. Airtex-ASC has combined the best technology with its 80 years of expertise in order to provide top quality coverage to its customers,” said Charles Harris, senior director of sales and marketing for Airtex-ASC.
“These pumps are not just for engine cooling management, but auxiliary water pumps are also used to cool an array of systems, including batteries in today’s hybrid and electric vehicles.”
Performance pistons
Mahle Motorsport ha introduced PowerPak Pistons and PowerPak Piston Kits, designed for Ford Coyote and “Voodoo” V8 Crate Engines
Mahle Motorsport now offers PowerPak Pistons and PowerPak Piston Kits for two of Ford’s more popular high-rev crate engines, the Ford Coyote all aluminum 5.0L crate engine and the 5.2 liter “Voodoo” V8.
PowerPak pistons are designed and manufactured with the same stringent standards as the track dominating Cobra Jet pistons Mahle produces for Ford Racing; each being machined with the same attention to detail for performance, strength and durability, and backed by hours of R&D testing.
Mahle PowerPak pistons feature hard anodized top ring grooves to eliminate micro-welding similar to Mahle original equipment pistons. All PowerPak pistons are phosphate-coated to protect against galling in the pin bores prior to application of Mahle’s proprietary Grafal anti-fraction skirt coating.
The PowerPak kit includes German steel pins, round wire locks and an ultra-flat, file fit performance ring set. Whether building a 7-second track dominator or the fastest street killer, Mahle PowerPak Pistons and Piston Kit delivers power and long-lasting performance.
