Castrol Canada has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Simon Dion-Viens.

Dion-Viens and the entire SDV Autosport racing team will continue to serve as ambassador for Castrol products in Canada for another three years, as he prepares to run a minimum of four races per season in the very competitive NASCAR Pinty’s Series.

“I have worked with Castrol Canada since I started my racing career, over 15 years ago,” Dion-Viens said. “It’s always been a pleasure for me to collaborate with them. Over the years, we created an excellent relationship, and a winning partnership focused on the Quebec market. They’re as passionate as I am about racing and I am very proud that I can count on their support.”

Dion-Viens won three Quebec GT championships in 2008, 2009 and 2010. He said that being a technician, he’s in a good position to know that choosing the right engine oil is essential to ensure optimized performance and excellent reliability.

“For 2019, I’m very glad to renew our partnership for another 3 years,” he said.

Natalee Davis, sponsorship manager at Castrol Canada, said Castrol Canada has partnered with several other racing teams throughout Canada and has always enjoyed a strong presence in the eastern Canadian market.

“We understand the importance of having a high level of visibility in the province of Quebec and in the Maritimes,” she said. Simon has used our products since the beginning of his racing career. As he knows and trusts our products, we are proud to have him as our ambassador both while racing and at our customer events.”

The driver of Castrol Canada’s Dodge 37 will be announcing his racing schedule for 2019 season shortly. In addition, other important collaborations will be announced in the coming weeks.

Castrol operates in over 60 countries. In Canada, Castrol lubricants are marketed, manufactured and distributed by Wakefield Canada, a privately owned, entrepreneurial company focused on automotive, heavy duty and industrial lubricants.
