Yokohama tire line for cars, light trucks now available at Chrysler dealers

Chrysler Canada dealers will have access to the complete line of Yokohama car and light truck tires for their service customers, the result of an agreement between Chrysler Group LLC and Yokohama Tire (Canada) Inc.
 
The agreement will see tires to fit most of the line of cars, SUVs and cross-over vehicles, as well as Ram light trucks, available through the 435 Chrysler Canada dealers from coast to coast.
 
The popular Chrysler and Dodge lines of cars and Ram truck products are among the most diverse in the market. A steady stream of new and updated vehicles, from the acclaimed new Fiat 500 to the revised Dodge Charger, have helped power Chrysler Canada market share and volume growth in the past year.
 
The agreement enhances dealers’ ability to provide all-inclusive support to their customers with one-stop shopping that makes service easier and more convenient, said an executive of Yokohama Canada. “Providing convenient access to high quality tires in popular OE sizes helps dealers retain service customers,” explains Eric Dedoyard, president of Yokohama Canada.
 
“Chrysler Canada dealers enjoy an excellent reputation for service, and their ability to meet their customers’ needs with the Yokohama line of premium tires enhances that reputation and helps dealers build on their important customer relationships,” Dedoyard adds.
 
Chrysler Canada dealers will work with existing Yokohama dealers to manage product distribution as part of the Yokohama Canada national accounts program. The complete Yokohama line of premium passenger car, light truck, winter and high performance products will be available through the Chrysler Canada dealer network.
 
Yokohama Tire (Canada) Inc. markets and distributes a full line of tires for high performance, passenger car, light truck, and commercial truck applications, as well as off-the-road tires for mining, forestry and construction applications. It maintains distribution centers across Canada to serve more than 700 independent tire dealers and more than 2,000 retail locations.
