Yokohama Tire (Canada) Inc. has expand its market presence in eastern Canada, with the the opening of a 110,000 square foot (10,219 square metre) warehouse facility in the Montreal suburb of Laval, said Eric Dedoyard, director of sales for Yokohama Canada.

The facility is near the junction of highways 440 and 13, and close to the major transportation routes serving all of Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces as well as eastern Ontario.

“Our new offices and warehouse space will help us expand our market presence and better serve our dealers in the region,” said Dedoyard. “It is another important step in building the Yokohama brand in Canada.”

The new facility is the latest in a series of moves designed to build the company’s product portfolio and retail presence in Canada.
