Uni-Select Prairies goes into flood relief mode

Annual golf tournament gets washed out, but company rallies forces to collect $34,500 for Red Cross Relief Efforts. Goal is $50,000

The recent flooding in Alberta forced the cancelation of the annual Uni-Select Prairies charity golf tournament at the Kananaskis Golf and Country Club… but that didn’t stop the group from doing some good.

Upon hearing that the tournament was canceled, one of the suppliers who was to attend the tournament offered to donate the money that he would have spent to flooding relief efforts. Others quickly followed suit.

Bob Chapman, Uni-Select Prairies marketing manager, stepped up to collect all the funds, and in less than 48 hours had collected $34,500 for the Red Cross relief efforts.

They’re not done yet!

If you would like to donate to the Red Cross through Uni-Select, please contact Bob Chapman by email at bchapman@uni-select.com.

You can help Uni-Select Prairies reach their goal of $50,000!
