The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) has announced that the 1997 – 2001 model years of the Toyota Camry have won the 2003 Pyramid Award for Overall Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction, and the 1998 – 2001 model years of the Toyota Sienna received the Pyramid Award for Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction in the Light Truck category. It’s the eighth award for the Camry, and the second for the Sienna minivan. Seven out of the 10 top places in the survey went to Toyota vehicles.
Camry owners told the CAA that their Camrys required 46 per cent fewer repairs than the average for vehicles in that age group, and that the average cost of repair was 27 per cent less.
