SSGM readers and industry veterans have chosen Toronto-based Redline Automotive Inc. as this year’s Garage of the Year.

The SSGM Garage of the Year is a national award presented annually to the Canadian independent automotive service provider that best exemplifies the highest levels of customer service, technician training and industry support and community involvement.

Redline Automotive was started in 1985 by Eric Latino as a two-bay operation that specialized in Corvettes. In 1993, Latino expanded to six bays and today his operation has nine active bays offering a full-range of automotive repair, maintenance, tires and accessories sales and installation to its customers and community.

Close to 30,000 independent automotive service providers across Canada are eligible for the award. In 2011, several hundred nominations for Garage of the Year were received from across Canada and were reviewed by SSGM’s editorial staff and industry experts.

Published since 1955, and with a circulation approaching 30,000 readers, Service Station & Garage Management magazine is the leading and most recognized business to business publication to the Canadian automotive aftermarket.
