TireMonkey.com CEO Tully Ryan today announced the appointment of industry veteran Greg Lamothe as Supply Chain Vice President. Lamothe will aid in the future expansion of TireMonkey.com’s U.S. network.

While sponsoring Camping World Truck Series driver and Quebec native Mario Gosselin has helped introduce TireMonkey.com to Canada’s NASCAR set, the addition of Lamothe promises to strengthen the company’s relationship with the entire Canadian tire industry. And with eight tire distribution centers and more than 300 installers at launch, TireMonkey.com’s Canadian network is already improving the online tire-buying experience for shoppers who for years had to contend with ordering from the U.S. and shelling out extra cash for duty fees, brokerage charges and hefty international shipping.

“We’re honoured to have Greg join our team,” Ryan said. “Not only is Greg extremely knowledgeable about the industry, but he has cultivated important contacts throughout his career that will prove incredibly valuable as we forge additional partnerships with tire supply companies across Canada.”

Lamothe brings 25 years of industry experience to his new post, having worked in executive sales and marketing capacities for industry heavyweights like Bridgestone/Firestone Inc., Remington Tire and O.K. Tire Stores Inc. But it was TireMonkey.com’s innovative business model of supporting the existing distributor-retail dealer supply chain that intrigued Lamothe to make his next career move.

“The opportunity to join TireMonkey.com in this capacity was a natural fit,” Lamothe said. “TireMonkey.com captured my attention for the same reason it’s captured the attention of the entire tire industry: the company’s business model lends support to distributors and retailers while delivering a very simplistic, effective and user-friendly tire buying experience to consumers. Already, a large part of the Eastern Canadian tire community has joined the TireMonkey.com network, and I look forward to growing the company’s footprint in both Canada and the U.S.”

TireMonkey.com is owned and operated by TireWare, Inc., an eCommerce business founded in 2004 to help independent tire and automotive dealers grow and build their businesses through SaaS Point-of-Sale business management solutions.
