Tiremaster Limited, headquartered in Brampton, Ont. is converting its retreading operations to the Michelin Retreading Technologies (MRT) process.

The announcement was made today by Ron Cherry, president of Tiremaster Limited and Matt Cooney, president of Michelin North America (Canada) Inc.

“As we look toward the future, we’re confident that Michelin’s technology, quality and cradle-to-grave approach is the best solution for our customers — particularly the large national fleets,” said Cherry. “After decades in the retreading business, I’m sold on the MRT process supported by Michelin service.”

Dedicated to the improvement of sustainable mobility, Michelin designs, manufactures and sells tires for every type of vehicle, including airplanes, automobiles, bicycles, earthmovers, farm equipment, heavy-duty trucks, motorcycles and the space shuttle.
