The Tire Industry Association (TIA) announced revised information for the educational session tracks at the 2010 Global Tire Expo – Powered by TIA. The Expo, which is a part of the 2010 SEMA Show, is taking place November 1-5, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV. Interested attendees are encouraged to register by visiting the “Events” section of www.tireindustry.org.

There will be four educational session tracks at this year’s Expo: TPMS at 10, Truck Tires at 10, Tires at 2, and Management at 4. The following is the current, revised list of each session and the speakers/presenters for each session within these tracks:

TPMS at 10:

Moderator for all sessions: Sean MacKinnon, director of automotive training development, Tire Industry Association.

Tuesday, November 2: TPMS Service and Maintenance: Speaker: Matthew White, senior ATS & TPMS instructor, Tire Industry Association.

Wednesday, November 3: TPMS Scan Tool Panel: Panelists: Andy Forsberg, product manager, SPX Service Solutions; Scot Holloway, general manager, Bartec USA, LLC; Ermald Muca, sales engineer, ATEQ Corporation; Matthew White, senior ATS & TPMS instructor, Tire Industry Association.

Thursday, November 4: Turning TPMS into a Profit Center: Speakers: Jean-Christophe Deniau, technical specialist, Continental Corporation; Carl Wacker, V.P., sales & marketing, Schrader Electronics.

Truck Tires at 10:

Moderator for all sessions: Kevin Rohlwing, senior vice-president of training, Tire Industry Association.
