The Tire Industry Association’s Off-The-Road (OTR) Tire Conference announces a new component for its upcoming 2012 event; break-out sessions covering critical elements of this growing segment of the tire industry. The break-out sessions will be Friday, February 17 from 2 to 5pm at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, California.

These break-out sessions include Tom Klinge of Klinge Tyre Management Systems speaking on directions in OTR customer relationship management, Stefano Staico of Italmatic giving conference attendees an inside look at OTR tire retreading and Botond Szalma from Tire & Elastomer Reinforcements on revolutionary reinforcements to address natural rubber shortages.

The Tire Industry Association’s Off-The-Road conference is taking place this year at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, California from Wednesday, February 15 to Saturday, February 18, 2012.

This premier event for executives and business owners in the OTR tire industry will feature Maurice “Morry” Taylor, chairman and CEO of Titan International, Inc. as the keynote speaker and such knowledgeable industry experts as Angie Jones of Bridgestone Commercial Solutions who will discuss the 2011 USA Industry OTR tire production numbers for both OE and replacement units.

Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice-president says he is “Excited about the recent growth of the OTR Conference and the break-out sessions help to increase the return-on-investment for participants.”
