The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is accepting nominations for service on the 2016-2017 TIA Board of Directors. TIA’s board directors serve for three-year terms and may be re-elected to serve two additional, three-year terms.
Positions on the TIA board are open to individuals that 1) are employed by a TIA member company and 2) the member company has been a member in good standing for two consecutive years prior to the election. This includes manufacturers, tire dealers, wholesale distributors, suppliers, recyclers and retreaders.
“The expertise that our board volunteers bring with them helps us to achieve our strategic goals. If you know of a qualified leader in the industry, we invite you to nominate them,” said Roy Littlefield, TIA’s executive vice president.
Any TIA member in good standing or an official representative of an industry association may recommend candidates to the Nominating Committee in accordance with the TIA bylaws. Self-nominations are also allowed.
