The Tire Dealers Association of Canada has begun planning its national trade show and convention. This year the event is set for September 18-20 at the new Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ont.
The theme, “Be In The Game” will be discussed by keynote speakers, Donald Cooper of the Cooper Sportswear family, and David Chilton, a dragon on CBC’s Dragon’s Den and author of the Wealthy Barber series. There will also be an indoor tailgate party, training seminars, and a number of industry “Hall of Fame” presentations, sponsored by Bridgestone.
The convention is sponsored by Federated Insurance, and the trade show is sponsored by the Suppliers Council to the Canadian Tire Industry. The event’s early bird promotion is sponsored Liberty Tire.
The association has chosen Niagara Falls in September for the great golfing weather. Plus, all of the Niagara attractions will be fully operational at that time as well. For attendees who’d like to stay inside, the casinos are also an option.
The Tire Dealers Association of Canada has reserved space on the 20th for any groups that would like to conduct regional or zone private meetings in conjunction with this event.
