Rexdale, Ontario’s St. Stephen Catholic School students held a soap box derby on June 29 as the grand finale of their Transportation Success for All Program, involving a group of Grade 7 students who designed, built, decorated and raced the cars. The event was coordinated by St. Stephen principal Brad Swanek and Toronto’s Don Bosco High School automotive staff. A NASTRUCK race vehicle, sponsored by NTN Bearings, was on view at the event. Over 400 students from St. Stephen Catholic School cheered on their favourite soap box car.
