Robinair, a business unit of SPX Corp., showcased at AAPEX in Las Vegas a R134a refrigerant recovery and recharging unit that is fully compliant with the new SAE J2788 requirements. The Robinair Model 34788 incorporates many of the features in the Model 3400Z. In accordance with the new standards, the Robinair 34788 provides a recharging accuracy to within +/-.50 oz, and is designed to give technicians access to optional vehicle data base software allowing for easy updates on refrigerant and compressor oil capacities per vehicle.
