Durable, all-weather snaps improve tonneaus

Soft tonneaus from Downey Products, Inc. feature the company’s patented inverted cover snap system that makes installing and removing the tonneau a cinch. The inverted cover snaps attach anywhere along the poly-carbonate channel’s length and slide freely within the channels, so there is nothing to realign when installing the cover.

Where button snaps can be difficult to fasten in cold temperatures, Downey’s inverted snaps remain easy to fasten regardless of weather conditions, and will not corrode.

New scissor lift is convenient, compact

Rotary Lifts new Scissor Lift fills a niche where drive-on convenience and a compact footprint are the primary needs, and alignment work is the primary function. The runways can be ordered with radius gauges, and it accepts Rotarys hydraulic rolling jacks or the new Swing Air jacks if the wheels need to be lifted. Scissor lifts have no yokes or cross-members to obstruct movement between the runways. The Rotary design also delivers some technologically advanced features such as an automatic leveling system (ALS) and a sophisticated safety lock system.

Scraper sets won’t warp, bend

Ken-Tool announces its new 4 and 5 Pc. Scraper Sets (#7504 and #7505). Now an assortment of scrapers is available in compact space saving sets. These multi-purpose scrapers are ideal for a variety of general automotive scraping applications. The blades and shanks are produced from heat-treated alloy steel for strength and durability.

Oldforge scrapers will not warp or bend under normal use. The working end is precision-ground for sharp parallel edges, and can be sharpened again and again.
