A technician at Columbia Auto Service, in Waterloo, Ont., has been honoured by NAPA Canada for his dedication to training.
Mark Robotham was singled out for being the first tech in Canada to complete 60 NAPA Excellence training courses, spanning six areas of study: brake systems, engine electrical systems, air conditioning, emissions control, chassis, and body electrical.
NAPA Excellence Training is an on-line training resource for the automotive aftermarket, providing instant access to hundreds of technical and management training sessions on video, using the latest technologies.
Russ Gougeon, Ontario NAPA Autopro coordinator, visited Columbia Auto Service to present Mark with six plaques, and gift certificates worth $500.
“Mark’s commitment to continued training has made him a valuable member of the Columbia Auto team,” said Jim Voigt, owner of Columbia Auto Service. “As an industry leader, his knowledge and expertise are something we are incredibly proud of!”
