The second annual Eccles Auto Service Ser- Ladies Car Care Clinic was held recently, and by all accounts the event was a success. Presenter Kelly Williams put a personal spin on car care and maintenance and even offered some relevant safe driving tips. The participants were thrilled with the hands on portion of the evening as they checked oil & tire pressures. Although it was a fun evening covering off the basics, there were some great questions about warning lights, ABS systems, tire pressure monitors and winter tires.
Organizers say no one left without learning something about the vehicles they drive.
At the end of the evening the ladies all left with a grab-bag which included their own tire pressure gauge. What’s more, admission for the event was a food donation to a local food bank and a trunk load of groceries went to ST. Mathews House, a local charity organization.
