New industry workshops scheduled


The three largest aftermarket trade associations in Ontario have announced new industry workshops that can assist motive power shop owners and managers. Starting on Tuesday October 26, members of the Hamilton District Autobody Repair Association, the Automotive Aftermarket Retailers of Ontario and the Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association are invited to attend any or all of a series of management workshops.   Non – members are also invited.

This marks the first joint project for the collision repair, automotive service and auto recycling grassroots facilities in Ontario, as they co-operate on servicing the aftermarket.
Evening workshops at 7:00 pm each Tuesday in Burlington, Ontario, feature valuable topics for shops owners and operators:
 
October 26          Grants, Business Incentives and Tax Credits
November 2       Bill 168 (Violence in the Workplace) and Ministry of Labour’s shop Inspection blitz
November 9       Employment Law for shops owners
November 16    Profit Centres Add-ons for your shop
November 23    What is My Shop Worth? Shop valuation

Admission is $10.00 (plus HST) for association members and $25.00 (plus HST) for non-members per workshop. Refreshments supplied.
