Snap-on has introduced something new to help reduce stress on a technician’s back and joints.
“When there’s vehicle undercar and lower-body work to be done, comfort is key for technicians,” the company said in the announcement.
New creepers, the company added, “keep techs off the floor and on a roll to get the job done.”
Snap-On provided the following information about their three creepers.
JCW77R
Featuring a new hinge mechanism, the JCW77 allows for one-hand height adjustment that makes changing the creeper position fast and easy. With a four-position headrest for better visual field, the JCW77 features new, flat-oval tubing construction, which eliminates sharp corners on the creeper frame. Four-inch casters on the base offer 1-3/8” ground clearance.
The JCW77 has a 13” wide deck with a solid plywood core, topped with high-density foam padding and a heavy duty vinyl cover to make it strong, long-lasting and easy to clean.
JCW72BL
The JCW72 has many of the same features and benefits of the JCW77, but with a static frame.
Offered in both black and red, the JCW72 is constructed with heavy-duty padding and vinyl cover atop a solid plywood core.
JCW80AG
A new caster profile on the JCW80A reduces rolling resistance and makes this creeper seat easy to maneuver.
It features a 16 gauge 1” steel frame and comes with an integrated storage drawer and parts tray. The seat has a solid plywood core, to make it sturdy and durable, encased by a heavy-duty vinyl cover with high density foam cushioning and comes in a variety of colors.
