NAPA welcomed 18,000 part store owners, counter staff, shop owners and technician from around the world to its 2015 Expo in Las Vegas this morning.

Speaking at the opening General Session of NAPA’s three-day extravaganza, Genuine Parts president Paul D. Donahue said the event was truly international, with 300 visitors from Australia, 100 from New Zealand, and over 800 from Canada.

The Expo will feature a wide array of training seminars, product launches, program announcements, an outdoor country music festival, celebrity appearances, and giveaways that include a boat, several cars and “more TVs than Bestbuy has it its back room!”

The event, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, is on through Friday.

NAPA has been planning the details of this year’s expo for the past two-and-a-half years.

The last NAPA Expo took place in 2005. Donahue promised that the company would not wait another 10 years to hold the next.
