NAPA/NGK Winners Race Las Vegas

NGK Spark Plugs Canada sent SSGM this image of the 18 winners of the NAPA/NGK “Race in Las Vegas” contest, who enjoyed a trip to Las Vegas for the opportunity to drive a 630 hp NASCAR Winston Cup series style stock car around the Las Vegas Speedway. With 630 hp underfoot, the group started with 8 laps, which were a bit tentative. By the time the second session of 10 laps started and the lights came on, everyone looked like a real NASCAR driver racing around the track at over 220 kph.

Afterwards, the entire “race team” dined at the NASCAR Caf and were chauffeured around Las Vegas, in a 26 person GMC Super Stretch Limousine. The following day the group had the opportunity to attend the AAPEX and SEMA trade shows, finishing up with an entertaining evening at AIA’s Canada Night in Caesar’s Palace.
