Morton Krieger, Owner Of Barton Auto Parts, Passes At 70

Morton Krieger, president of Barton Auto Parts in Hamilton, Ontario, passed away at the age of 70 while visiting Florida.

The company has serviced the Hamilton area for the past 58 years. However, Mort had reached out to suppliers and customers far beyond the immediate area. Mort left high school to run the family business started by his father, Thomas Krieger.

Mort passed away with his wife Jerre by his side. Mort was loved by his children Robin, Stephen and Tracy and their spouses Alissa and Jonathan. Mort was blessed by the love of five grandchildren; Zakari, Dylan, Megan, Noah and Lilly. Dear brother to Merle (Jack), Cheryl (Morrie) and Howard (deceased) and survived by his Uncle Jack and many nephews and nieces. Donations in Mort’s honour may be made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre of Hamilton Health Sciences.
