For Liqui Moly, the premier as an exhibitor at the AAPEX trade fair in Las Vegas, NV turned into a major success for the motor oil specialist.
‘We did have high expectations as we came to the AAPEX,’ stated Manfred Fischer, export area manager of the German motor oil and additive specialist. ‘But even these expectations were exceeded significantly.’
‘It was great to greet everyone at our booth’, continued Fischer. ‘In addition to old friends, many interested people dropped by, and we succeeded in winning many of them as new customers.’ Liqui Moly produces all its products exclusively in Germany to ensure the highest possible quality. And ‘Made in Germany’ also applied for the beer on tap every afternoon for all visitors at the ‘Liqui Moly Oktoberfest’
The booth with floorspace of 800 sq. feet, displayed a cross section of the product line. In addition to motor oils, transmission oils and additives, a series of new motor oils was presented, which was recently developed especially for the requirements of engines in American and Japanese vehicles. A frequently discussed subject was the increasing significance of manufacturers’ approvals for motor oil; a development, which started in Europe and is becoming more and more important in the USA. Modern engines require motor oil with very particular, differing properties. Using the wrong motor oil can result in engine problems, increasing wear, reduced engine service life and even severe engine damage.
‘We were able to demonstrate, that we not only sell top products, but also have a strong brand’, said Fischer. ‘For us the great significance of the AAPEX is its proven value for exchanging and making contacts. Our appearance there will contribute to continuing our strong growth in the USA in the future.’
