KBC Tools & Machinery announced company president Paula Bass has completed Quantum Shift, a unique leadership development program and network sponsored by the Richard Ivey School of Business, KPMG Enterprise, TD Commercial Banking and The Globe and Mail.

Boosting entrepreneurial talent is critical for Canada’s future in both the domestic and international arenas.  With this in mind, a select group of successful CEOs and business leaders from across Canada participated in the rigorous week-long, invitation-only workshop held recently at the Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario.   Bass was one of 40 participants selected from a very competitive nomination process, and is now among 300 entrepreneurs to complete the program to date.  Quantum Shift and its resultant business support network aim to give participants additional leadership tools to take their businesses to the next level of success.

The program focuses on such topics as leading an enterprise through exponential growth, how to attract and retain the best employees, uncovering obstacles that may be limiting growth, and building a strong network of entrepreneurial peers to share best-practices.
