Ingersoll Rand has expanded the MAX line of tools with the 1″ 2155QiMAX mpactool.
The tool has a 1″ drive engineered for assembly and disassembly of machinery and heavy equipment, vehicle service, and equipment maintenance applications. The impact delivers 1,350 ft-lb of maximum reverse torque with 1150 blows per minute and has a forward torque range of 200-900 ft-lb. Weighing only 7.4 lbs with an overall length of 8.8″, the 2155QiMAX has the best power-to-weight ratio in the industry and is light enough for extended usage and compact enough to access tight spaces.
“The 2155QiMAX has the best power-to-weight ratio in the industry,” says Nate Schmid, marketing manager for Vehicle Services with Ingersoll Rand. “Technicians will be astonished at how versatile, comfortable, and lightweight such a powerful tool can be.”
The impact is designed to withstand even the toughest use in rugged environments. An innovative new steel wear plate provides extreme wear resistance. The 2155QiMAX also features a seven-vane motor that delivers more air power yet consumes 16 percent less air than other impacts. The tool’s ergonomic housing increases technician comfort, while the easy-to-clean inlet prescreen captures debris and an improved grease fitting makes for easy maintenance. This reduces down time and saves money in using less air compression while also increasing tool life and performance.
