Hankook Tire’s DynaSYNC wins 2016 Red Dot Design Award

Hankook Tire’s Dyna SYNC, the futuristic concept tire for off-road driving, has been awarded the 2016 Red Dot Design Award for Design Concept.

In collaboration with Vibram, Hankook Tire developed the tire to push the boundaries of both performance and design.

“It is a great honour that Hankook Tire has been recognized once again for its innovative technology by the prestigious Red Dot Design Award,” said Mr. Seung Hwa Suh, vice chairman and CEO of Hankook Tire. “Receiving the award solidifies Hankook Tire’s commitment and determination to leading future driving through progressive innovation and creative design. Hankook Tire will continue to contribute to advancements in driving with aspiration for innovative technology.”

This is the fourth time in 2016 that Hankook Tire received international design awards for its innovative achievements, following the iF Design Award in February, the Mercury Excellence Awards and awards in the Product Design category at the Red Dot Design Award in March.

This year, a total of 4,698 entries from 60 countries participated in the Red Dot Design Award. The award ceremony will take place at the Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore on September 22nd, 2016.
