Hankook Tire Canada names new president

Sean Yang, who replaces Ken Cho as head of company's Canadian operations, says the Canadian market is very important to Hankook and he's excited to work closely with the team towards achieving goals for the coming year.


Hankook Tire Corp. has named Sean Yang as the new president for Hankook Tire Canada.

The appointment is effective as of Jan. 1.

He replaces Ken Cho who will return to the company’s global headquarters in Seoul, Korea, after spending the last three years as president of Hankook Tire Canada.

Mr. Yang, who started with Hankook 15 years ago, was most recently global TBR marketing manager at Hankook Tire Corp.

“The Canadian market is very important to Hankook and I’m excited to work closely with the team towards achieving our goals for the coming year,” said Yang. “We will continue the great work being done as we solidify our position as a premium tire brand and one of the most respected companies in the industry.”
