Grandpa’s wartime Dodge took huge effort to find, restore

Check out this interesting story in the Edmonton Journal about Roy S. Hawes, who in 1942 operated Hawes Auto Service in Edmonton. He bought a 1942 Plymouth Super Deluxe D23C sedan.

Almost 70 years later, Jim Hawes tracked down his grandfather’s rare automobile and restored it to like-new condition.
