We have had a taste, and it has been ugly.  Just a whiff of snow and the DVP gets closed by a 3-car bang, plus many delays on the streets due to fender benders caused by just plain bad driving and poor preparation for winter.  Help yourself and your loved ones from becoming part of the traffic crash statistics, by taking a winter driving course.

John Mahler, our Apex chief instructor has secured Bridgestone Tire sponsorship to run a series of winter driving schools.  These one-day clinics will teach emergency braking, collision avoidance, situational awareness and of course skid control.

This course is for everyone.  Isn’t it time for the young drivers in your family to be training to survive our nasty streets in the GTA?   At this time of year it’s not about high performance driving, it is survival driving for our winter streets.  We all know there are junkers out there rolling around on worn all-season tires.  Eventually one of these losers will cross our path, let’s be ready to avoid his or her stupidity with superior driving skills.

We want your families, teens and young adults to get driving proactively.  One day with us will show them the way to improvement.  Skills we teach can be practiced every day after the course to constantly improve one’s driving.

Take a look at our Web site: www.bridgestonecanadianwinterdrivertraining.ca

It may be the world’s longest web address, but it features great pricing and family discounts.

Our next school is at the Mosport DDT area, on Saturday December 17.  If the area is not snowy we will soak it with a water truck to aid slipping and sliding.

Time is 9:30 AM to 4 PM, lunch is included, $295 per person.  Family of four – $850.  Adult with a young driver – $500 for the pair.  Join us and you will see some familiar instructor faces.

If you cannot join us on the 17th, we will operate between Christmas and New Year’s.  So a gift certificate for one of those days is a great way to show you care.
