Gates brings awareness to workplace safety

April 28 is Canada's annual "Day of Mourning" to honour those who have died or suffered injury due to work-related causes. Gates Canada will be sponsoring a safety message to spread awareness of this campaign.

April 28th is observed across Canada as the “Day of Mourning,” to honour those who have died or suffered injury due to work-related causes. This year marks the 28th anniversary of this special day which was declared by the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) in 1984.
 
The Canadian division of Gates, an international power transmission and fluid transfer solution company is bringing awareness to this campaign by sponsoring a safety message on Hamilton-based radio station CHML ‘AM 900’ on April 28.
