Federal-Mogul to Showcase Several New Technologies During 2011 AAPEX Show

.Federal-Mogul will introduce several technologies and extensive new product lines for the automotive parts and service industry during the 2011 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), November 1-3, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

The company’s exhibit (No. 3217) will highlight several new vehicle repair and maintenance solutions that are now available through four of Federal-Mogul’s brands:  ANCO, Champion, MOOG and Wagner Brake.

Among the new product technologies that will be on display are ANCO Profile wiper blades; Champion oil, air and cabin air filters; MOOG complete strut assemblies, hub assemblies and R-Series control arms; and Wagner ThermoQuiet Ceramic brake pads.

“These technologically advanced repair and maintenance solutions are now available under some of the strongest brands in the automotive industry,” said Jay Burkhart, senior vice-president, Federal-Mogul Global Aftermarket. “These new products, with their market-leading quality, performance and value, will help our trade partners establish and strengthen new customer relationships and will contribute to Federal-Mogul’s strategy for sustainable global profitable growth.”

The following are highlights of these new product lines:

 ANCO Profile Wipers – These new profile-style replacement wiper blades offer an easy-to-install, affordable upgrade from conventional blades to the latest wiper technology. ANCO Profile blades are also direct-fit replacements for vehicles originally equipped with profile-style wipers. The ANCO Profile line covers virtually every passenger vehicle with just 22 part numbers.

Champion Filters – The Champion brand will offer, beginning January 1, 2012, a full line of oil, air and cabin air filters featuring designs for best-in-class quality and construction. The line includes 53 oil, 183 air and 46 cabin air filter SKUs that provide 98, 93 and 90 per cent coverage, respectively, of the North American car parc.

MOOG Complete Strut Assemblies – MOOG complete strut assemblies enable shops to save time while performing a complete, high-quality strut replacement. Each unit is fully pre-assembled for fast, easy installation and features a premium nitrogen gas-charged strut with a unique triple piston rod seal for superior vehicle dynamics and longer life.

MOOG Hub Assemblies – These advanced unitized hub assemblies incorporate an array of exclusive design features to help service providers deliver longer lasting performance on nearly any popular late-model vehicle. Each MOOG hub assembly features an exclusive premium integral oil seal that eliminates common bearing contamination and ABS performance issues.

MOOG R-Series Control Arms – This value-driven OE-style replacement solution featuring the quality construction and design technicians expect from MOOG products. MOOG R-Series control arms are available with pricing that will appeal to many budget-minded vehicle owners.

Wagner ThermoQuiet Ceramic Brake Pads – This next-generation Wagner ThermoQuiet product line combines Federal-Mogul’s award-winning Integrally Molded Insulator and Wagner EDGE laser-shaped friction technologies with highly advanced new, proprietary Ceramic friction formulations for better performance and reduced dust.
