When the owner of this 1999 Ford Explorer pulled into a Blaskin & Lane Tire Centre in Calgary, all he wanted was a wheel alignment.
When technician, Cory Heatley pulled off the wheels, he saw paper-thin rear rotors that were crumbling apart.
After explaining the dangers to the customer, the repair work was dismissed.
“The only thing he was concerned about was the wheel alignment, which also couldn’t be done because of worn front end parts. The vehicle eventually left the shop on a tow truck but not without a fight with the customer first.”
While he may have made an enemy on the process, Cory and the team at Blaskin & Lane did what they could to get this safety hazard off the road.
