Delphi has new VP for Global Independent Aftermarket

Craig Barnes will join Delphi Product & Service Solutions as vice president of the global independent aftermarket, effective July 1, 2012.

Barnes was the former senior vice president of merchandising, pricing, global sourcing, marketing, and inventory and demand planning at Carquest. Prior to joining Carquest in 2009, Craig served as vice president of merchandising for brake systems, undercar, global sourcing and quality for AutoZone

Lúcia Veiga Moretti, president of Delphi Product & Service Solutions, said his extensive background in both traditional and retail aftermarket channels will bring a unique perspective to our organization that will further support our presence and growth plans in a fast changing marketplace.

Barnes will be responsible for growing the global independent aftermarket business with a strong focus on the customer with regard to all aspects of the business including parts, diagnostics and service solutions.
