Corsa Hits Right Note With Corvette C5 Xtreme Exhaust

Corsa Performance has launched a new exhaust for the fifth-generation Corvette – the C5 Xtreme. The C5 Xtreme axle-back exhaust system features four 3.5-inch Pro-Series tips and the company’s exclusive Reflective Sound Cancellation technology, which allows for a loud, aggressive sound during acceleration and a comfortable interior note at cruising speeds. At 5 lbs. lighter than stock, the C5 Xtreme boasts straight-through, nonrestrictive design and significantly better flow, which yields an 11-hp peak power increase at 5,400 RPM and a 9.2 lb.-ft. torque increase at 4,100 RPM. All tips are high-quality, 304L polished stainless steel. Complete installation hardware and an illustrated installation guide are also included.
