For 2001, the Bosch Producer’s Choice installer loyalty program has added brake pads to the line up of credit-eligible products.

Installers at Bosch Service Centres and Bosch Auto Parts Specialist locations are eligible for the company’s Producer’s Choice program. Producer’s choice offers rebates on award purchases based on dollar credits earned for each Bosch product installed.

ACDelco announces Technician of the Millennium Contest

ACDelco has announced their Technician of the Millennium II Contest. Open only to ACDelco Total Service Support Program Member Technicians, the North American contest allows all Member technicians to demonstrate their skills with the chance to become the North American Champion Technician for the Year 2001, and the owner of a new Chevy Avalanche. The program was originally launched in the US in 1999 with great success.

There are three phases within the contest:

Phase I: A Time Limited Written Exam

Phase II: Regional Contest where the top scorers from the written exam will move on to a real hands-on diagnosis and repair situation.

Phase III: The Regional Winners will participate in the final Hands-On Competition at the NASCAR Race in Charlotte, North Carolina in October 2001. The Grand Prize is a brand new Chevy Avalanche -including many other prizes to be won at all levels of the contest from diagnostic repair equipment and tools to ACDelco clothing.
