BAARA looks to help redefine the aftermarket

The Barrie Area Automotive Repair Association (BAARA) will be hosting an evening with Bob Greenwood who will speak on the topic of “Redefining the Aftermarket” According to Ed Jagt, owner and operator of Pro-Tech Tire and Auto in Barrie, Ont., Greenwood will speak about how to more clearly define the aftermarket industry and about the “new opportunities and new business format for the future.”

“(Greenwood) will be challenging our sector to rise to the top and be the best we can be in our industry,” Jagt added. “I’m very happy to be working with (Greenwood) on this and I am sure all attendees will get a lot out of what he has to say.”

The event will be held at Timothy Christian School, 750 Essa Road in Barrie, Ont. It will begin at 7:00 p.m. and tickets are $20 and can be purchased by contacting Ed Jagt at 705-722-8000. All proceeds from the event will be going to support the AIA’s initiative on Consumer’s Right to Repair.
