Automotive Parts Distributors (APD) had overwhelming support for their Diesel Day Tour in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
About 200 people attended the launch of Thunder Diesel, a new diesel parts brand.
“Thunder diesel fills a void in the market place,” said APD product manager Glen Matthew. “The aftermarket did not have one-stop access to a complete line of products for our 3/4-tonne truck market.”
At the events in Calgary, Edmonton, and Saskatoon, Flight Systems had two presenters explaining their injectors and other offerings from their company.
Flo-Pro exhaust also presented their diesel offerings.
“We live in truck country,” said Zara Wishloff , vice president of sales and marketing for APD. “The turnout showed the demand. We had 16 people who commuted over an hour – some as far as 620 km one way – to attend.”
